Fees & subsidies FAQ
Do I need to apply for the CWELCC fee reduction?
No. For eligible children in participating licensed centres, the fee reduction is applied by the centre - parents do not apply separately. Ask us to confirm how it applies to your child’s age group.
Is fee subsidy different from CWELCC?
Yes. The Child Care Fee Subsidy program is a separate, income-tested program run by your local service system manager (Durham Region for Whitby; the City of London for London). A family’s assessed fee may also be reduced by CWELCC.
