a note from our founder

At the heart of Mindful Nurturing is a soul deeply devoted to the innocence of childhood and the transformative power of kindness - our founder and director, Nidhi Chauhan. With over a decade of experience as an Early Childhood Educator, she has worked across diverse educational settings - from school boards to Montessori classrooms and Reggio-inspired environments. Through these experiences, she has gathered not just knowledge, but a profound understanding of the unique ways children learn, grow, and feel the world around them.

Where are your centres located?

We have two locations: 501 Dundas St W, Whitby, ON L1N 2N1 and 475 Wharncliffe Road, London, ON.

What ages do you accept?

Our Toddler Program is for children 18 months to 2.5 years, and our Preschool Program is for children 2.5 to 5 years.

How do I join the waitlist?

Complete the short form on our Admissions page with your child’s details, preferred start date and the days of the week you are considering. A member of our team will contact you with next steps.

Do you offer flexible enrollment?

Yes. We offer a variety of flexible enrollment options designed around your family - whether you need full-time care or something more tailored.

What is your curriculum based on?

Our mindful curriculum is built on eight pillars: Conscious Learning, Creative Resources, Discipline and Responsibility, Independent Skills, Manners and Etiquette, Kindness Education, Early Technological Literacy and Communication Skills.

Do children go outside every day?

Yes. Daily outdoor play and movement-based learning are part of both our Toddler and Preschool programs.
